3 DIY Stress-Free Holiday Recipes
1. DIY Bath Salts
Relaxing in a bath is just what 2020 ordered. Epsom salt baths have so many great benefits including softening rough and dry skin and exfoliating dead skin cells. And when adding soothing essential oils to the mix, it's sure to help you destress.
Here is one of my favorite recipes:
1/4 cup of liquid (fractionated) coconut oil
5 drops of doTERRA's Lavender essential oil
6 drops of doTERRA's Eucalyptus essential oil
Combine Epsom salt, coconut oil, and essential oils. Mix together. Store in an airtight jar. Add to bath when ready to soak your worries away.
2. DIY Bubble Bath
If you're going to take the time to draw up your relaxing bath, you might as well go all out, am I right? Let's add some luxury to it and create an all-natural DIY bubble bath recipe.
2 tablespoons of water
15 drops of Serenity, Balance, Eucalyptus, or Lavender essential oil (you can put any relaxing essential oils or even mix them up!)
Combine castile soap, vegetable glycerin, and water into a glass bowl. Add essential oils and stir until well combined. Pour into a glass container. Add 1/4-1.2 cup of the bubble bath mixture to warm, running water.
Dim the lights, turn on the diffuser and a spa/meditation playlist...and soak in all of the calm vibes. ENJOY!
